For those of you who have kept up, the Mr. and I are in the process of building a new home. There is so much that takes prior to a home build and we are on the home stretch. We close on Monday, February 6th--YAY! What that means is that the appraiser has evaluated our land, the comparable sales in the area and reviewed our house design to determine the appraised price. Once that figure comes back (a little bit of a big deal) we can proceed with the build. Hallelujah. The Mr. and I designed our home from start to finish, which typically homebuilders will have several layouts to choose from, select their hardwoods from what is available and pick out cabinet colors, etc. We opted out of that and truly wanted a unique and custom home. So, since the last lot picture posted, here is what the lot looks like today.
